Duties/Responsibilities:
Managing incoming and outgoing mail, answering the telephone and general queries by email in the Service team; answering the front door.
Updating and maintaining manual and computerised systems and records in accordance with the Service team’s internal policies/procedures using advanced Excel skills.
Support the smooth day-to-day running of RSP by having a clear understanding of the business support tasks and performance targets.
Support the Delivery Team Leader with operational tasks.
Support the wider team with general administrative duties.
Act as the first point of contact for enquiries into the service team email inbox and telephone.
Ensure all referrals into the Service team are triaged and allocated in line with Service department’s requirements and standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in Equipment Maintenance: Support the service engineering team in routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on suction excavators and other group products to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Learn to identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues in group products and assist in implementing appropriate solutions.
Service Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate service records, including equipment maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts inventory.
Parts Management: Learn to identify and order necessary parts and components for repairs and maintenance, ensuring timely availability and efficient inventory management.

• Call out rota will be required.
• Working as part of a team nationwide, self-motivation and team working are essential. This role involves a high proportion of working alone as well as supporting and being supported by the company’s existing team of engineers and managers. • At least 3 years’ demonstrable experience working within the service industry in mechanical and electrical disciplines ideally with hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
• Experience in fault-finding and repair of electrical control circuits/PLC’s is desirable.
• A recognised formal apprenticeship in addition to City and Guilds or similar qualification.
• To always work safely and in accordance with the company’s health and safety procedures. Precautions should be taken as necessary when visiting sites, adopting the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
